United Fabricare Supply is an Industry Leader Supplying Laundry and Dry Cleaning Products to the California and Nevada areas.

In April of 1946, David Bernstein, together with his partner, Joe Hain, purchased a small store front with a number of small garages in the rear, along with a 1939 Chevrolet delivery van with a trailer set. David and Joe created the concept and framework for a company that would fill a need in the laundry and dry-cleaning trades. A company that would provide excellent service, quality products and exceptional industry knowledge, to an industry that was experiencing substantial growth and dynamic changes. Thus, the business formerly known as United Chemical & Supply, now operating as United Fabricare Supply, Inc., was born.

Mr. Steve Hong purchased United Fabricare Supply, Inc. in December 1983. The company was uniquely positioned for growth in the Los Angeles and Southern California market. With Mr. Hong's vision and leadership, United Fabricare Supply, Inc. began to expand its service area into all of Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Tulare, Kern and San Diego counties. The company was dedicated to making customer service the most important part of the business. Each time the service area expanded, the appropriate personnel and product lines were added to ensure that customers would have the finest products and service available. In July of 1993, having outgrown its 25,000 square foot warehouse, United Fabricare Supply, Inc. moved to a new 55,000 square foot facility.

August 1993, brought a new opportunity and challenge, as a major supplier in the laundry & dry-cleaning trade left the Southern California marketplace. United Fabricare Supply, Inc., under Mr. Hong's leadership, was able to assimilate this additional business. It was soon apparent that in order to service the San Diego market, United Fabricare would have to open a facility in that area.

This was accomplished in 1993 when United Cleaners Supply, Inc. was formed and a 25,000 square foot facility was opened in Poway, California. This was truly a bonus for customers, since they now have a local facility that they can depend on to provide prompt delivery of the goods and services they require to operate their businesses.

In December of 1996, United Fabricare Supply, Inc. initiated service to the Las Vegas, Nevada area by providing weekly deliveries from the facility in Poway. California. It was quickly apparent that the dynamic, growing Las Vegas area would require a facility of its own. In June of 1997, United Cleaners Supply, Inc. Nevada became a reality when a new 35,000 square foot facility was opened in Henderson, Nevada.

In 1998, United Fabricare Supply, Inc. added a full service line of dyestuffs and related textile products and expanded further with an additional facility in Compton, California.

Today, with over 120,000 square feet of facilities stocked with the most comprehensive product lines available, United has clearly established its position as the overall industry leader.
